Perfect Vision

My piece for the 2020 show at Above Second.  I played on the idea of ’2020′ as 20/20 vision, or perfect eyesight.  I envisioned the characters wearing special glasses that enable them to peer clearly into the future.

2020 at Above Second

Another fab show coming up this Friday, December 17, 2010, 6-10pm.  The exhibition 2020 will be at one of my favorite galleries in Hong Kong, Above Second. And how excited am I to be showing alongside some of my favorite artists from HK and beyond?!
The fabulous Mimi Leung, Graphic Airlines, Start From Zero, & Hiro Kurata, to name a few…  Check out more here at the Above Second blog

More info about the show below:

2020 is a vision of the world a decade hence. Each artist, responding in their unique style, will present their vision, focused onto a 40 x 40 cm canvas but liberated by freedom of medium. These individual representations of the year 2020 as foreseen by a globally representative group promise to challenge your own notions of the world in 10 years time. 2020: perfect vision or shortsighted subjectivity…? Only time will tell, but come along and see how their vision compares to your expectations…

Raise the roof!

My new rooftop mural is finished!  I love how it turned out.  We’ll also be adding a real garden to this space soon.
